Rick Sullivan Abstract Art

Artist’s Statement

I work in non-objective abstract expressionism, exploring themes of connection, gravity and separation.  I use lines, color and contour in dense and layered ways that won’t yield or conform with familiar constructs.  I share my art with people, because I love the moments when they see the subtext…a discovered thought or feeling.  I invite them to invest in art, any art that catches them…seeing the artist’s creation as something unique, existing physically through the artist’s voice and speaking only to them.
